Delete Your Account

ASK DR PRO ("the app") is operated by the publisher of www.askdrpro.com. This page describes how to permanently delete your account and what data is removed.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)

  1. Open ASK DR PRO on your phone.
  2. Tap the menu (☰) icon in the top-left corner.
  3. Tap your username, then tap "Delete my account".
  4. Confirm by typing your password.
  5. Your account and all chat history are erased from our servers immediately.

Option 2 — Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email us at delete@askdrpro.com from any address with the subject line "Delete my account" and include:

  • Your username (or registered recovery email, if any).

We process deletion requests within 7 calendar days and email you a confirmation when complete.

Option 3 — Delete individual chats only

You can delete a single conversation without deleting your account:

  1. Open the app and tap the menu (☰).
  2. Tap "My Chats".
  3. Long-press the chat you want to remove and tap Delete.

What gets deleted

  • Your username and password hash.
  • Your recovery email (if you provided one).
  • All saved chat conversations tied to your account.
  • Your companion-state profile (mood, attachment stage, rapport tracking).
  • Forum posts and comments authored under your account.
  • Push notification subscriptions linked to your account.

What may be retained, and for how long

  • Anonymized analytics (query counts, cache-hit rates, language breakdown) — kept indefinitely, but never linkable back to you.
  • Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) — retained for 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically purged.
  • Skin-analysis logs (diagnosis label + confidence score + timestamp, never the photo itself) — retained for 90 days for model-quality monitoring.
  • Database backups — overwritten on a 7-day rolling window. Your data is fully gone from backups within 7 days of deletion.

Anonymous use — nothing to delete

If you never created an account (anonymous use), there is no personal account to delete. Server access logs identified only by IP follow the 30-day retention rule above.
